Veteran music star Daddy Showkey has publicly expressed deep gratitude to fellow musician, Alabi Pasuma, for his unwavering support during one of the darkest periods of his life.
During a recent live performance, Daddy Showkey emotionally recounted how Pasuma stood by his family after he was involved in a ghastly accident in 2007 that left him hospitalised.
He revealed that while many of his colleagues in the entertainment industry turned their backs on him despite his pleas for help, Pasuma stepped in and took care of his family for three whole years.

Showkey hailed Pasuma’s compassion and loyalty, describing his support as a rare act of brotherhood in the music industry.
“You see, this man Pasuma, for musician I no get any friend wey I go call say I get problem. He stood by me during bad times and good times. Many people didn’t see me in public or sing for years because I had an accident in 2007. I was in the hospital for three years. Pasuma was the one taking care of my family. I can never forget him in my life.
“I visited others but they didn’t give me the opportunity to see them not to talk of helping. When I got to their houses they would tell me that they were not around even when they were inside the house,” Daddy Showkey said.
