One of Marvel Studios’ biggest releases this year is the premiere of “Daredevil: Born Again” on Disney+ in March.
Anticipation is high for the title among the fanbase, but the general public could be forgiven for being unaware of it because the promotion for the series thus far has been relatively minimal.
In fact, less than two months out and there is still no official trailer for the series online – only bootlegs from conventions and a brief few seconds of footage as part of a Disney+ 2025 promo reel.
The Direct has calculated that the series has set an unfortunate record – it will be the Disney+ MCU live-action series with the shortest time between its first trailer release and its actual premiere.
The longest was “Loki” which launched its first teaser 180 days before it premiered – a full six months. Most have launched their trailers around the 2-3 month mark with the previous shortest record held by the second season of “Loki” which released its teaser 66 days before its premiere.
As of time of writing, “Daredevil: Born Again” is currently at just 49 days out from release and there is currently no sign of that first trailer releasing anytime soon short of a surprise drop from Disney.
Animated MCU series are different with many of those only releasing their first looks around a month before their premiere.
The talk comes as a resurfaced version of last October’s fan-recorded trailer from the show’s New York Comic Con presentation has once again surfaced online.
The clip shows the character’s new clashing with The Punisher, Muse, and The Kingpin and the return of some other familiar faces. “Daredevil: Born Again” premieres on Disney+ on March 4th.
