Check Out the New Features of Deadzone: Rogue
Prophecy Games has announced a major content update for Deadzone: Rogue, launching next week in celebration of Steam’s upcoming Zombies vs. Vampires Fest. This significant refresh delivers a wave of new features, gameplay upgrades, and the return of the free demo, all designed with player feedback in mind.
At the heart of the update are two new missions. Last Stand is a survival-based mode where players face relentless waves of zombies, testing their endurance in an escalating battle. Meanwhile, The Gauntlet introduces progressive difficulty, challenging players to push their limits with each run.
Players will also be able to unlock stylish weapon skins by completing in-game missions, offering more personalization options tied directly to gameplay. In response to community requests, the update brings save checkpoints to single-player mode, allowing players to pause and resume their runs with greater flexibility.
One of the most anticipated parts of the update is the return of the free demo, available from May 26 to June 2. It grants full access to Zone 1’s Story Mission across multiple difficulty levels in both solo and cooperative modes, making it ideal for new players and returning fans alike.
In a statement, a Prophecy Games representative emphasized the studio’s focus on community: “This update sets the stage for the Zombies vs. Vampires Fest and is all about us giving back to our community and giving players more of what they love,”
The update also includes various improvements, bug fixes, and performance enhancements, all driven by community feedback.
