We might have political disagreements or can’t agree on our thoughts about a certain video game or TV show, but one thing that most people can agree on is that phones are too expensive. This is why many people use cases: protecting a phone with a case is a lot more affordable than purchasing a new handset.

However, I hate using cases. Whenever I get a new phone to review, I rarely put on a case because I like the pretty colours, the feel of the handset, and its thinness, and I know some people feel the same. I don’t spend money on phones, so I’m in a different spot than many others. But if companies launch all of these handsets with cool textures on the back or fun colours, why hide them with a case?
