This holiday season, Drake and Adin Ross teamed up for a spectacular Holiday livestream event that gave back in a major way. On Thursday (Dec. 26), the “Drizzmas Giveaway” delivered an evening full of surprises, heartfelt moments, and incredible prizes—all thanks to The 6 God and online betting site, Stake.
Ahead of the event, Drake took to Instagram in a since-deleted post, reflecting on the philanthropic moment portrayed in his 2018 music video for “God’s Plan”—dubbing it “one of the best days of his life.”
“People often ask me what was the best day of my life. And there’s so many memories with family, album releases, shows [and] fans showing a deep appreciation for the craft,” he said. “But my answer is the same every time. The two days that I shot ‘God’s Plan’ were the best days of my life. The joy that I experienced on those days, making other people happy, you know, changing their week, or their month or their year was an irreplaceable feeling.”
He channeled that same spirit of giving this year by gifting fans with a romantic getaway for two, luxury vehicles, custom memorabilia, assistance with their bills, a chance to see him live in concert and hefty cash prizes.
Adding a charming touch, Drake personally read letters and stories from winners and announced prizes live—making the moment even more special for his fans. See above.
Reportedly, the live event pulled in over 180,000 viewers in its first hour, making it a standout giveback moment in the streaming world. And “Drizzmas” wasn’t just about free gifts—it also was a moment to show Drake’s appreciative side. At one point, he paused to thank those who influenced him before fame and shared his excitement to give fans the Anita Max Win Tour, which kicks off Feb. 9 in Australia.
If that isn’t enough, fans can also look forward to Drake’s new cologne, which he teased on the stream.
