Hey everybody you know me, I’m DIB, today I’m writing down my GOTY for 2024!! Hope you can take a break from those bad Youtubers (which I’m mostly talking about Dan) and enjoy my GOTY!!

5number five is…. LEGO HORIZON! I’m picking this for number five because it has a good story mode, a little sad part and REALLY FUN! This game made me feel like I was a real Lego piece. I kept wanting to play this game because it was interesting, exciting and funny. Why funny? Because if you shoot an arrow over the edge it just goes straight down. That’s hilarious.

4Number four is…. THANK GOODNESS YOU’RE HERE!! I’m picking this for number four because this game is funny! The character’s voices are really weird. You play as this tiny tiny little person and he does all these chores around town, and it looks so funny just to watch. He goes through this pipe to get around town, and nothing really seems to bother him even though he’s getting flushed and flipped and punched the whole time. There are fish smoking too.

3Number three is….THE PLUCKY SQUIRE!!! I’m picking this for number three because this game is interesting, exciting and super duper FUN! The thing is it’s basically in real life and a kid draws a book about The Plucky Squire and there’s this bad guy that sent the squire out of the book. He had a whole adventure in the real world. To change things in the book, you move the words around. Pretend there was a sentence saying “Here was a stone staircase,” and there was a word “block.” He would take “staircase” out and put “block” in, and the object would turn into a block. That’s what this game is basically about, and defeating this bad guy. This is really special to me, because like, if you were just learning how to spell and mix words around (which I’m getting good at), it shows you how words go together.

2Number two is…. ASTRO BOT!!! I’m picking this for number two because there’s really interesting levels and probably the most exciting bosses I’ve ever fought. The object of the game is to beat an alien (which is the mega boss) because the alien stole 5 pieces from the PS5, and that’s how they move and travel through space. This game is special to me because when you jump and fight bad guys the controller vibrates, which I’ve never seen or felt before! I think Astro Bot (the main character) is brave, will never let anything stop him, and will rescue anybody no matter what.

And now the one we’ve been waiting for, for number one is…. FORTNITE!!!!!! I play it basically every single day! There are guns but no blood. There’s something called a “live event” which is so awesome, it’s like you’re in a game, right, then all of a sudden a crazy thing happens inside of the game! This game is so fun, let me explain. The main part is there’s something called a Victory Royale, where you have to use the weapons you find and you shoot people. There’s health in the game, where you have to use medkits and bandages to stay alive if someone hits you. You basically have to beat everybody and be the last person standing, and then you get the Victory Royale! Also, if you want, you can play with your friends and if you win the game, you get crowns, which is a special item. I love Fortnite because if I didn’t have it, and I couldn’t talk to my friends, and I wouldn’t be in touch with everybody so much. Finally, skins and emotes! You need v-bucks to buy this, but if you buy it, you can customize your skin. Some of my favorite skins are Spider-Punk, Dr. Doom, Superhero skin, and so many more. I have like 30+ the edit style. Some of my favorite emotes are the Gritty, Ninja Style, Chicken Wing, and Flexing my Crown wins. Sometimes when I score in real hockey I do the Gritty.
