Check Out The New Trailer Of Echoes Of The End
Myrkur Games and Deep Silver have announced that Echoes of the End, a cinematic action adventure and the debut title of the studio, will launch on August 12 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The announcement arrived alongside a brand new 17-minute gameplay showcase, giving players their most detailed look yet at the game’s world, systems, and story.
The extended trailer highlights an early chapter of the game, introducing protagonist Ryn and her unique magical abilities. As a vestige, one of the few individuals capable of wielding ancient, unstable magic, Ryn plays a crucial role in the unfolding conflict. The footage offers a glimpse at key gameplay elements, including exploration, traversal, environmental interaction, and combat. Players also get a first look at enemy types and early ability sets that evolve throughout the adventure. You can check out the full extended gameplay trailer right below.
The story begins during a routine border patrol. Ryn and her brother Cor are suddenly ambushed by forces from the neighboring kingdom of Reigendal. The surprise attack escalates when Zara, another powerful vestige, enters the fray. Ryn and Zara engage in a fierce magical duel, but the fight ends in a tense stalemate when Abram Finlay, a scholar and explorer, intervenes and pulls Ryn to safety.
Now separated from Cor, Ryn must work with Abram to navigate hostile lands, uncover Reigendal’s true intentions, and ultimately reunite with her brother. The narrative explores themes of trust, sacrifice, and redemption, unfolding across ten handcrafted chapters filled with cinematic sequences, branching choices, and deeply personal moments.
