Shankar’s directorial “Game Changer,” featuring Ram Charan, is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on February 7. The movie initially hit theaters on January 10 and was produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner with music composed by Thaman.
The film stars Kiara Advani, S.J. Suryah, Jayaram, Samuthirakani, Srikanth, and Anjali in key roles. The plot centers on the death of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Poppili Sathyamurthy (played by Srikanth) due to a bridge collapse during a medical visit, leading to his son Moppi Devi (S.J. Suryah) vying for the next Chief Minister position. Meanwhile, a sincere IAS officer, Ram Nandan (Ram Charan), assumes office as the Visakhapatnam district collector and fights against corruption. His actions interfere with Moppi Devi’s political ambitions, sparking a conflict between them, which drives the storyline forward.
Despite its political backdrop, the movie faced significant failures at both the box office and with critics. The OTT rights for the movie were acquired by Amazon Prime Video, which has now officially announced the streaming date as February 7.
