Geely to Unveil Groundbreaking AI Strategy in Early March

Following the deep integration of Geely’s Xingrui AI model with DeepSeek, Geely Auto Group CEO Gan Jiayue announced at the 2025 Annual Business Conference on February 9 that the company will release a major AI-driven intelligent strategy in early March. Gan stated, “Geely will become a leader in AI technology for smart vehicles, delivering revolutionary intelligent experiences to users.”

According to an official press release, 2025 will be a pivotal year for Geely’s Galaxy product line, with five new models set to launch, including two SUVs and three sedans. Each model is positioned to dominate its respective market segment, aiming for strong sales immediately upon release.

Simultaneously, Geely Galaxy will continue to innovate in areas such as architectural technology, comprehensive vehicle AI, and intelligent driving. The company plans to accelerate the integration of cutting-edge AI technologies, including end-to-end voice models, AI digital chassis, and advanced autonomous driving systems.

Geely Auto is leveraging the advanced cognitive capabilities of DeepSeek’s R1 model, combined with its own comprehensive AI technology system for smart vehicles, to redefine human-machine interaction and intelligent driving. This collaboration aims to drive the widespread adoption of AI technology in the automotive industry. Based on the DeepSeek-R1 model, Geely will conduct distillation training for its Xingrui vehicle control FunctionCall model and the vehicle’s active interaction edge-side model.
