Grammys 2025: Benson Boone Apologizes for Grabbing Crotch “So Aggressively” During Performance
Benson Boone didn’t mean for everyone to see this package at the Grammys.
After the “Beautiful Things” singer was caught on camera adjusting himself following his Grammys 2025 performance, he addressed the viral moment on his social media.
“Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight,” the 22-year-old wrote in a Feb. 3 Instagram Story, “that thing was extremely restricting in certain areas.”
Indeed, many fans who tuned in to the Grammys 2025 ceremony spotted the “In The Stars” singer quickly adjusting himself after performing his viral hit on stage—and took to social media to call him out.
As one X user wrote shortly after Benson’s performance, “I will be thinking about Benson Boone’s crotch grab for…a WHILE.”
Another attached a video of the moment adding, “This was wilddd.”
Of course, Benson’s slight wardrobe malfunction was just one of the many viral moments that took place amid the 67th annual Grammys ceremony. Beyoncé—who took home three awards including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter—also had a meme-worthy reaction to hearing her name called for the Best Country Album category.
After Taylor Swift announced the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer’s genre-bending LP had won the honor, the cameras cut to an extremely surprised Beyoncé, who was so caught off guard she needed her daughter Blue Ivy to tell her to get up to accept the award.
Naturally, fans on social media had a field day with the brief clip.
One fan attached the moment to a post on X, writing, “When you hear your name on a Zoom call and weren’t paying attention.”

Meanwhile others couldn’t help but appreciate the lack of surprise from Beyoncé’s 13-year-old.
“You know who wasn’t shocked?” Another fan wrote. “Her manager, Blue Ivy Carter. Look at Blue telling her to get up and accept the award. LOL.”
The viral moments were just one of the things you may have missed at the Grammys 2025 ceremony. Keep reading for every moment you didn’t see on TV…
