Join the Action in Guns, Blocks, and Steel
The solo indie game developer Silver has revealed that Guns, Blocks, and Steel is coming to PC via Steam on 20 December 2024. It is a multiplayer FPS with fully destructible terrain, resource management, and retro-inspired gunplay. Check out the official trailer of the game below to get a glimpse of the action ahead.

Guns, Blocks, and Steel is a voxel-based multiplayer FPS featuring a completely dynamic environment. Players can build defenses, or, more importantly, destroy your enemy’s defenses. The strategy lies in shaping the surroundings to your advantage using the awesome rocket launcher You can enjoy the game in single-player mode with bots or multiplayer PVP/co-op as well.

In the game, you must mine iron to make steel, a crucial material for building vehicles and crafting ammo. With ammo in limited supply, every shot matters. Advanced weapons may require gold, a rarer and more valuable resource, but mining doesn’t have to be slow and tedious because you can blast ore with dynamite. Or, if the situation calls for it, use the dynamite against your enemies instead. The choice is yours, shaping how you approach the game.

Whether you prefer managing resources and building powerful weapons at your base, venturing out to gather supplies, or launching an attack on your enemy’s base, the game lets you decide your strategy. You’re free to switch roles at any time, unbound by the restrictions of specific classes.

Many multiplayer games today focus on hyper-competition, often creating toxic communities. Guns, Blocks, and Steel take a different approach. This game is all about having fun, not chasing victories. There’s no win/loss tracking, no game history, no leaderboards, and no kill-death stats for others. It’s a place where the experience matters more than the score.
