“Hellraiser: Revival” Game Announced

Saber Interactive
Developer Boss Team Games (“Evil Dead: The Game”) and publisher Saber Interactive have revealed “Hellraiser: Revival,” a video game adaptation of Clive Barker’s iconic horror franchise.

The single-player, first-person, survival-horror action game that will send players to Hell to battle Pinhead and the other Cenobites, along with a cult that worships them

You play as Aidan, a man who wields the ‘Genesis Configuration’ puzzle box. He journeys across the hellish abyss to aid his missing girlfriend who has been taken by the Cenobites.

You harness the box’s infernal abilities in order to survive your pact with the sinister Pinhead and battle against the twisted cult that worships him and his Cenobites. Fail, and your suffering will become a legend – even in Hell.

The title sees the return of actor Doug Bradley to the role of Pinhead. Clive Barker himself says in an official statement:

“Working on the first true Hellraiser game has been a venture deep into the recesses of my darkest imaginings. The dedication that Saber and Boss Team Games have shown is nothing short of remarkable.

They’ve immersed themselves in the Hellraiser universe, capturing its essence – the seductive pull of suffering, the beauty within the grotesque – and forged a narrative that invites players to step beyond the threshold.

I’m eager for both the curious and the damned to experience this new chapter in the Hellraiser mythos, where every moment balances on the brink of nightmare and revelation.”

The first “Hellraiser” film, which Barker himself wrote and directed in 1987, has spawned multiple sequels, comic book spinoffs, and merchandise.
