According to the Chinese corporate information platform Qichacha, Shenzhen Tianyi Technology Co., Ltd. was recently established, and its business scope includes research and development of intelligent robots, sales of intelligent robots, sales of industrial robots, research and development of mechanical equipment, manufacturing of mechanical and electrical equipment, and manufacturing of service consumer robots. Of note is that the shareholder information indicates that the company is wholly owned by Hangzhou Unitree Technology Co., Ltd.
Previously, Unitree had established branch offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Both are wholly owned by Unitree Technology and are engaged in technology promotion and application services.
In addition to its commercial progress, Unitree Technology’s core competitiveness lies in its leading robot technology. Collaborating with the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Unitree has developed the BeamDojo reinforcement learning framework, enabling robots to learn autonomously and adapt to complex environments. This allows the H1 robot to maintain balance on irregular terrain and perform high-difficulty tasks such as walking on balance beams and stepping stones. The advancement of reinforcement learning technology is enhancing robots’ adaptability in real-world environments, paving the way for their commercial applications.
Currently, Shenzhen has gathered 34 listed robot companies and 9 unicorn companies. Seven companies have been selected for Morgan Stanley’s Global Top 100 Humanoid Robot Listed Companies list, accounting for nearly a quarter of mainland China’s listed companies. The city also attracts complete machine enterprises such as Leju, Zhongqing, Zhijidongli, and Ubtech, forming a strong industrial agglomeration effect.
