Starward Industries has revealed a fresh gameplay trailer for Into the Fire during this year’s online INDIE Live Expo today. The showcase introduces new layers of its extraction survival adventure, set on a remote island where a chain of volcanic eruptions turns the landscape into a shifting realm of danger, ancient secrets, and raw elemental force.

The trailer will offer a closer look at the pressure-filled rescue operations that define the experience. Scenes move through collapsing terrain, searing heat, and violent storms that rise from the island’s awakening core. Players rely on robust retropunk gear designed to endure harsh conditions while navigating strange disturbances tied to long-buried myths. These phenomena stir as the disaster spreads across the surrounding islands, giving the world a sense of ancient memory rising through smoke and ash.

Michał Obłoj, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Starward Industries, describes the project as a tribute to systemic survival and myth-driven storytelling blended with the untamed beauty of natural upheaval. According to him, the new trailer aims to capture the way the environment responds to every action, creating a living stage where adaptation becomes essential.

Alongside the reveal, Starward Industries is preparing another phase of closed playtests for selected community members on Discord, offering a chance to explore elements of the experience before its wider debut.

Into the Fire is set to enter Early Access in 2026. The journey invites players into a realm shaped by fire, folklore, and a steadily unfolding apocalypse where every step must contend with a world that refuses to remain still.
