James Cameron Teams With Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish has announced that she is currently working with Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron on a 3D project.

The multiple Grammy-winning “Bad Guy,” “No Time to Die” and “Birds of a Feather” singer is currently in Manchester in the UK as part of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour” concert tour.

On Saturday, she took a break between songs to announce the collaboration, saying:

“So, you may have noticed there’s more cameras than usual up here. Basically, I can’t say much about it, but what I can say is I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will, and these four shows her in Manchester, you and me, are part of a thing that I’m making with James.”

The singer then teased that Cameron is “in this audience somewhere” and added that she will “probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days.”

Cameron’s “Avatar: Fire and Ash” wrapped its primary shoot back in December 2020 though did some pickup shoots last year.

Post-production on that film is nearly complete but Cameron now has some breathing room before he gets to work filming the remaining three-quarters of the fourth “Avatar” film early next year.
