For the third consecutive year, Japan has been named the #1 country in the world by the readers of Cond Nast Traveler in the 2025 edition of the magazines annual Readers Choice Awards. Tokyo (#1) and Kyoto (#2) have been voted the top two best Large Cities in the world, with Tokyo leading the list for the second year in a row.

We have welcomed a record number of visitors from the United States every month from January through August 2025, with a total of number of 2.1 million American visitors so far this year.
