JYP Entertainment has been named the third-best company globally and the top-ranked in Korea in TIME magazine’s World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025 list.
On November 27 (local time), the U.S. weekly magazine TIME and the German market analysis firm Statista unveiled the list of the World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025.
According to the list, JYP Entertainment, categorized under Technology, Media & Services, scored an impressive 93.66 points, placing third worldwide among leading companies and first in Korea. Notably, JYP was the only Asian company to secure a spot in the top 10.
The ranking evaluates 500 companies worldwide that demonstrate exceptional achievements in sustainable development while maintaining robust financial stability. TIME and Statista determined the final rankings based on an equal-weight assessment of revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact.
JYP Entertainment achieved high scores in all categories including revenue growth, financial stability, and sustainability. Statista commended JYP’s balanced performance, emphasizing its substantial use of eco-friendly energy and its position among the top 5 percent of companies with the lowest carbon emissions. The firm highlighted that achieving consistently high results across all metrics is an extraordinary accomplishment.
JYP Entertainment’s success in sustainable growth is rooted in its proactive ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) management. The company earned the highest “AA” rating among K-pop companies in the 2023 MSCI ESG evaluation and became the first Korean entertainment company to publish a sustainability report in 2022. Earlier this year, it released its third sustainability report, further cementing its commitment to sustainable growth.
Congratulations to JYP Entertainment!
