Kang Tae Oh will go all out in his attempts to convince Lee Sun Bin to stay together with him in “The Potato Lab”!
tvN’s “The Potato Lab” is a romantic comedy that centers on a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin stars as Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, while Kang Tae Oh plays So Baek Ho, a cold pragmatist who joins the institute as its new director.

On the previous episode of “The Potato Lab,” So Baek Ho—who was overcome with guilt—made the difficult decision to let Kim Mi Kyung go, However, Mi Kyung was hurt by the fact that Baek Ho didn’t even try to stop her from walking away from their relationship. When Mi Kyung expressed her feelings, Baek Ho gained the courage to ask her to stay. The episode ended with him tearfully asking her, “If I say I love you, can you come [back] to me?”
Newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming finale capture Baek Ho’s relentless pursuit of Mi Kyung as he tries to win her back. After realizing that his misplaced attempt to be considerate of her feelings had backfired and actually hurt Mi Kyung even more, Baek Ho adopts a new strategy: melting the now frosty Mi Kyung with his irresistible soft side.
Another set of photos hints at a change in their relationship. When Mi Kyung receives a phone call from someone, her expression turns serious. As Mi Kyung tears up after becoming overwhelmed with emotion, Baek Ho embraces her in a warm and comforting hug.
The drama’s production team teased, “In the final episode, which airs today, So Baek Ho will unleash his final strategy to keep Kim Mi Kyung by his side. So Baek Ho’s persistent pursuit as he tries to change Kim Mi Kyung’s mind will both make viewers laugh and make their hearts flutter up until the very end.”
The series finale of “The Potato Lab” will air on April 6 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
