The iconic Golden Chariot Luxury Tourist Train, a symbol of Karnataka’s cultural opulence, is set to resume operations on December 14, 2023, in a revamped form, as announced by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). This relaunch marks a new chapter in high-end tourism, showcasing the rich heritage and scenic beauty of South India.

Exciting itineraries announced for 2024-25; two exclusive itineraries are as follows:
Pride of Karnataka: To start from December 14, and will follow the route: Bengaluru → Bandipur → Mysore → Halebidu → Chikmagalur → Hampi → Goa → Bengaluru. This journey will be of 5 nights, 6 days.

Jewels of South: To start from December 21, and will follow the route: Bengaluru → Mysore → Kanchipuram → Mahabalipuram → Thanjavur → Chettinad → Cochin → Chertala → Bengaluru . This journey will be of 5 nights, 6 days.

The train will further offer additional trips in January, February, and March 2024, offering more travelers the chance to explore the cultural and natural treasures of Karnataka and South India.
