Developer Tripwire Interactive has announced that Killing Floor 3 is coming to Xbox consoles on March 25th, unveiled as part of the team’s Siren reveal trailer – which you can watch through up above.

If you haven’t played the Killing Floor series before, think Gears Horde mode / Call of Duty Zombies and you’re about there – these games focus on wave after wave of ‘Zed’ slaying as opposed to a full narrative campaign.

Here’s how the team sets up the series’ third outing:

“It’s 2091 and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bioengineered monsters called zeds. Now, join the rebel group Nightfall in this co-op action/horror FPS that puts you and your teammates in a battle for the future of humanity.”

On top of that fresh release date, Tripwire has also revealed that a closed beta is coming for Killing Floor 3; taking place between February 20-24. You can sign up for this closed beta right now via the game’s website – and we’ll also drop the team’s beta trailer down below.

Pre-orders are set to go live shortly on the Xbox Store and at retail, with the base edition coming in at $39.99.

Looking forward to wiping the floor with some Zeds, PXers? Talk to us about Killing Floor 3 down in the comments.
