The Next Story Awaits in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have launched Legacy of the Forge, the newest story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The expansion comes alongside the free 1.4 update. While the patch introduces quality of life improvements, an enhanced photo mode, and a dynamic HUD, the expansion brings Henry into one of his most personal journeys yet.
In Legacy of the Forge, Henry earns a place within Kuttenberg’s blacksmith guild. It grants him the right to claim an abandoned forge once tied to his adoptive father, Martin. The workshop carries with it an unfinished dream: restoring the city’s astronomical clock, a task Martin and his fellow craftsmen never completed. What was once left in ruin now becomes Henry’s responsibility, as he sets out to rebuild the forge, gather Martin’s old companions, and carry forward their legacy. Each artisan holds unique skills and untold stories, and their collaboration is key to completing the monumental project. The expansion offers about 15 hours of narrative, mixing conspiracy, camaraderie, and surprising turns.
The forge itself stands at the heart of the experience. Answering a long-standing fan request, it provides Henry with a permanent home in Kuttenberg. Players can design the forge and its surroundings with more than 100 million customization options. Beyond aesthetics, these choices bring practical benefits. Special furniture and upgrades improve Henry’s skills, grant useful buffs, and transform the forge into a thriving hub of activity.
Legacy of the Forge is available now for 13.99 USD. Owners of the Gold Edition or Expansion Pass gain automatic access to the new content, along with the base game, Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, and additional expansions included in the complete package.
