Light Novel ‘Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume.’ Gets TV Anime

Publishing company TO Books announced a television anime adaptation of Misaki’s Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume. (A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation) light novel on Friday.

Misaki began penning the adventure fantasy story on the Shousetuka ni Narou website in January 2014. TO Books published the first volume under its TO Bunko imprint in June 2018, with illustration by Sand (Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku). The 18th volume released on April 15 while 19th volume is scheduled to go on sale on October 15. Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume. has a cumulative 1.5 million copies of its light novel and manga volumes in circulation.

A manga adaptation by Momochi began in December 2018 on Comic Corona. TO Books shipped the tenth volume on April 15 and will release the 11th volume on October 15.

Synopsis

When Lizel mysteriously finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn’t, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn’t the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place, and to help him do so, hires a seasoned adventurer named Gil as his tour guide and protector.

Until he’s able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he’s sure he’ll go home eventually… might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now! (Source: Tokyopop)
