The live-action “Masters of the Universe” movie at Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel has locked down the actors who will play four villains in the feature.
Oscar winner Jared Leto is now confirmed for the role of Skeletor in the project after first being linked several months ago.
He’ll be joined by Sam C. Wilson (“House of the Dragon”) as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson (“Game of Thrones”) as Goat Man, and Kojo Attah (“The Beekeeper”) as Tri-Klops.
Skeletor, a cunning sorcerer with a skeletal face, serves as the primarily villain of the franchise and arch-nemesis of He-Man whom is being played by Nicholas Galitzine in this outing.
Tri-Klops is Skeletor’s tech-savvy henchman who is also a skilled swordsman, Trap Jaw is a recurring baddie with cybernetic enhancements, and Goat Man is a minor villain who is generally in cahoots with Skeletor.
They join a cast that currently includes Idris Elba Duncan/Man-At-Arms and Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn. Travis Knight is directing the film from a script by Chris Butler but plot specifics are under wraps.
The new “Masters of the Universe” is set for June 5th 2026.
