Marvel Pulls Films, Plans “Avengers” Cameos?

Marvel
Hot on the heels of the seven-month delays of both “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars,” Marvel Studios appears to have shaken up their release slate even more than expected.

Cosmic Marvel is reporting that three untitled films booked in for placeholder release dates in 2026 and 2027 have been removed from the schedule.

These include films that were set for release on February 13th 2026, November 6th 2026 and November 5th 2027. As a result, after “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” hits cinemas this July 25th, there won’t be a single MCU big screen release until “Spider-Man Brand New Day” on July 31st 2026.

Then comes the next two “Avengers” films in December 2026 and December 2027. Marvel has multiple films in development including “Blade,” “Black Panther 3,” Shang-Chi 2″ and more but none of those seem close to being in production as yet.

Meanwhile, Jeff Sneider has reported on The Hot Mic that Marvel is seeking a new actor, not Nic Cage, to play Ghost Rider in “Avengers: Doomsday” with a casting search underway.

On top of that, British movie set scooper UnBoxPHD is reporting that Zazie Beetz’s Domino from “Deadpool 2” has been spotted on the ‘Doomsday’ set. No photo evidence to back it up sadly.
