MCSN Opens Edo, Delta Office

The Musical Copyright Society Nigeria Ltd/Gte (MCSN) has officially commenced operations at its new Benin City office, which will oversee activities in Edo and Delta States.

Located at No. 8 Amede Street, off Giwa Amu Road, GRA, the office began operations penultimate week following a successful recruitment exercise. Its establishment is aimed at bringing copyright licensing services closer to users of musical works and sound recordings across the two states.

A management team from the Lagos head office is currently in Benin to provide comprehensive training for the newly recruited staff. The training is designed to equip them with the skills required to administer copyright and engage with music users, including hotels, lounges, restaurants, supermarkets, cinemas, banking halls, factories, airlines, public transportation systems, taxis, broadcast stations, and nightclubs in Benin, Asaba, and surrounding areas.
