Multiple Free Betas Are Available To Xbox Players This Weekend

We know the Pure Xbox community loves freebies, and we love bringing them to you!

So, let’s take a look at three free Xbox betas that are available over the next few days – the biggest one being Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds. You can download the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Test via the Xbox Store right now, with the test beginning at 7pm PT / 10pm ET / 3am GMT on February 6/7, and ending at the same time on Sunday / Monday.

If you miss it for whatever reason, the same beta is also taking place a week later from February 14-17.

“In response to requests from players who were unable to participate the first time or simply wish to play again, we’ve decided to hold a second open beta test. OBT 2 adds some new content to enjoy, as well as new bonuses for participating, which can be claimed in the full version. We hope you consider participating.”

The second playtest you can check out this weekend is for 33 Immortals – the upcoming Xbox Game Pass roguelike. It’s not a new test (it’s been live a couple of weeks), but the team has decided to extend its length until February 14th.

A similar situation applies to party game Belly Bumpers, which has quietly been hosting a playtest for the past month. There are no signs that it’s ending anytime soon, so you can check it out for free this weekend if you wish.

Both 33 Immortals and Belly Bumpers can be found via the free Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox console. In there, you’ll also discover more tests for other games, such as the Patch 8 stress test for Baldur’s Gate 3 owners.

There’s so much more to discover beyond just these three betas though. As we’ve already mentioned this week, we’ve seen some great free demos added to the Xbox Store in recent weeks, including PGA Tour 2K25 a few days ago. We’ve been playing the demo here at Pure Xbox quite regularly, and we’re having a blast with it so far!

Don’t forget about Xbox Free Play Days as well. Parts of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are free to play via the program over the next few days, while you can also grind NBA 2K25 and check out a free trial of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed.

“The beta test version includes three types of content: Character Creation, a Story Trial, and a Doshaguma Hunt. You’ll start in Character Creation, then move onto the Story Trial quest, which includes cutscenes from the beginning of the story. Basic tutorials will guide you through a Chatacabra hunt as you experience seamless story and quest gameplay.”
