To help reduce congestion, the use of public transport is strongly encouraged. Parking should only be done in designated areas, and roadside parking must be avoided as it can obstruct the flow of traffic.

If you notice any suspicious activity or objects, report them immediately to the nearest police personnel or PCR van. Delhi residents are urged to stay informed by following the Delhi Traffic Police on social media for real-time traffic updates and advisories.

Nashik, Maharashtra

Nashik in Maharashtra is another prominent city that experiences heavy traffic during Navratri. To manage the devotees to Kalika Devi and Renuka Devi Yatrosvas, the barricading is done. The Deputy Commissioner of Police has announced alternative routes and barricading points to manage the traffic. Prime regions like Trimbak Naka Signal and Gadkari Signal will see restrictions, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes via the Nandini River Bridge and Sarada Circle to avoid congestion. These measures will remain in effect until Dussehra on October 12, 2024.

By following these traffic rules and using public transport, people can avoid unnecessary congestion and enjoy the festive season.
