The indie game studio BancyCo is launching their latest title Neo Harbor Rescue Squad on 12 November 2024. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. And by the way, you don’t need to wait till November to save lives as the game is currently featured in the ongoing Steam Next Fest. If you are eager to dive into the game, check out the demo available on Steam and PlayStation 5.

The Rescue Squad has always been overshadowed by the prestigious Fire Department of Neo Harbor City, but that’s about to change. As the team’s new rookie paramedic, players will dive into emergencies all over the city, manage challenging patients, and defend the squad’s reputation from the cunning news reporter, Betty Woo.

Players will dive into an exciting and fast-paced triage system, where they must handle multiple waves of patients during each call. This gameplay captures the urgency, unpredictability, and critical decision-making needed in the role. They’ll manage several scenes simultaneously and use special shields to buy time for strategizing, all while racing against the clock.

Players must master over 50 intense (and often hilarious) treatment minigames to stabilize patients and prevent them from going critical. This includes tasks like performing CPR, stopping nosebleeds, wrapping bandages, using a defibrillator, and much more.

The game transforms real-life stories from emergency responders into a thrilling tale filled with teamwork and rivalry. Co-founder Nancy Yeung drew significant inspiration from her hometown of Hong Kong, capturing its lively atmosphere in Neo Harbor City. Players will find themselves exploring vibrant dim sum shops, bustling night markets, and even an amusement park braving a typhoon.
