Hawkins is taking over the Six once again.
Netflix Canada is teasing the opening of a Stranger Things Experience in Toronto as part of a new global marketing campaign for the hit series.
The official Netflix Canada account posted a video to X/Twitter titled “CODE RED CANADA!” with the tweet also noting that an experience (labelled for the main location of the show, Hawkins) will be heading to the city for the show’s final season and to “stay tuned.”
Attached to the tweet is a video that shows the intro to the show, listing cities such as São Paulo, London, New York, Los Angeles, Lucca, Berlin, Paris, Istanbul, Tokyo, and Toronto, alongside the words ‘This is a code red.’

Although there isn’t much to go on, it can be assumed that this marks the start of a major marketing campaign by the streaming giant to celebrate the fifth and final season of the hit show, which is set to arrive in the near future.
This isn’t the first time that the world of Stranger Things has landed in Toronto. In May, 2022, Netflix brought a Stranger Things experience and outdoor viewing party to RendezViews West. A year later, Netflix and Fever brought another Stranger Things experience to the city, selling tickets for $49, which included themed activities, food, and drink, as well as the opportunity to volunteer as a test subject at Hawkins Lab.
Volume one of Stranger Things’ final season begins with the first four episodes on Wednesday, Nov. 26. Volume 2, comprising three episodes, will be released on the platform on Christmas Day, with the finale airing at the end of the month.
