New Casio G-Shock x Bamford collab watch officially teased, launch imminent

With the 2020 5610 and 2022 DW‑6900 selling out fast, we can expect the signature blue detailing to return and availability to be tight.​

Casio G‑Shock UK and Bamford Watch Department have just posted the same “Soon” teaser on their respective Instagram accounts – a black tile with a Bamford‑blue G – which means that a new co‑branded model is about to be announced. No specs, model code, pricing, or release date have been disclosed yet, although reliable source @morgan_gshock speculates that the new watch will use a GM-5600 base. The new teaser is very reminiscent of prior Bamford collaborations’ signature aqua/light blue palette – this new model will the third co-branded one, following the 2020 and 2022 drops.

The partnership began with the Bamford London x G-Shock built on the 5610 “square,” officially referenced as GW-M5610BWD20-1ER. It brought Bamford-blue accents to a negative LCD, radio-sync Multi‑Band 6 and Tough Solar, and sold out within minutes, thanks to the collaboration’s hype cycle and resale heat. Launch communications from Casio UK and watch media pegged the sell-out at roughly three minutes, which gives an idea of the pent-up demand associated with both these brands.

The second release moved to the round DW-6900BWD-1ER and introduced a “triple blue” concept across dial, bezel accents and a dual-layer band, with Bamford branding on the face, band and keeper. George Bamford added that the 6900 was his first G-Shock. Once again, this model drew lines at G-Shock’s Carnaby Street store and a fast online sell-through.​

You can expect a narrow launch window and the new drop to move quickly when the collab goes live. Keep an eye on the G‑Shock UK and Bamford’s social feeds; that’s where this one will break first.
