Two new featurettes are out that are worth a look. First up, Paramount Pictures has released a new clip showing Tom Cruise in action performing his biplane stunt in “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”.
The eighth and seemingly final ‘Mission’ boasts plenty of big stunts, but few are bigger than Cruise struggling to breathe as he’s tethered by a wire to the wing of a biplane – hit by 140mph winds over 8000 ft off the ground.
Next, Universal Pictures has premiered a new nearly two-minute featurette for “Jurassic World: Rebirth”.
Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend and more talk the Gareth Edwards-directed film and how it strongly ties back to Spielberg’s original as opposed to the recent sequels.
There’s also a first glimpse of the famed raft scene from the book, that has never been translated to screen until now.
“Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” is slated to open in cinemas late next. month, while “Jurassic World: Rebirth” will follow on July 2nd 2025.
