NIP Group Won A $40 Million Investment from ADIO

The ‘China’s top e-sports company’ NIP Group and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) announced that they have officially reached a strategic partnership. ADIO will provide up to approximately $40 million to NIP Group over four years to jointly promote the development of the gaming, media, and entertainment industry in Abu Dhabi.

Based on the agreement, NIP Group will establish its global headquarters in Abu Dhabi, and use this as a base to provide services to gamers in the United Arab Emirates and the broader Middle East and North Africa region, creating local job opportunities.

ADIO will fully support NIP Group’s business layout in Abu Dhabi, including promoting esports club operations, event activities, creative studios, game distribution, talent brokerage and other key businesses for rapid development locally.

Regarding this cooperation, Mario Ho, Chairman and Co-CEO of NIP Group stated: “Establishing a global headquarters in Abu Dhabi reflects NIP Group’s commitment to pursuing sustainable development and enhancing operational management capabilities. Our collaboration with ADIO not only enhances our strategic layout in the Middle East market but also demonstrates our determination to create value locally. We will leverage Abu Dhabi’s innovative ecosystem to create job opportunities, cultivate local talents, drive the development of the gaming and entertainment industry in the Middle East region, and radiate globally from this point.

NIP Group is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, established in 2000. Its business covers Asia, Europe, South America and other regions, with home bases in Wuhan and Shenzhen (NIP’s home base for League of Legends team is located in Shenzhen, eStarPro’s home base for Honor of Kings team is located in Wuhan). Mario Ho serves as the Chairman and CEO of NIP Group and also the company’s largest shareholder with a stake of 14.2%. In addition, supporters of the company include Hong Kong singer Jackson Wang.
