Nubs! Has Released Its Debut Demo on Steam

Indie studios Glowfish Interactive and Rangatang have released the first demo for their upcoming title, Nubs!, a new arena brawler in development. The game is being shaped by developers who worked on the 2012 indie cult hit Awesomenauts. Starting today on Steam, players can explore this new multiplayer arena brawler that builds on Awesomenauts’ fun-first approach. It delivers fast-paced action with a fresh roguelite twist, creating an exciting and unpredictable experience every time.

In the demo, players can dive into action-packed local or online matches with four or more players. They can choose between two exciting game modes. Join forces in 2v2 battles, where teamwork is key to victory. Or fight to be the last one standing in ‘Last Nub Standing,’ a high-stakes mode filled with deadly traps and powerful weapons that keep every match unpredictable.

Before stepping into the arena, players can personalize their characters with a variety of unique outfits and accessories. This allows players to add their own style to the chaos. Once the victor wins a match and the dust settles, they earn a special ability to carry into the next battle. This is an advantage that could make all the difference in the fight ahead. No two matches play out the same, ensuring every round is a fresh and thrilling challenge.

New fighters can try the free demo now during Steam’s ‘Couch Co-op’ event and the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The full version of the game will be coming out in first half of 2025.
