OnePlus 15 will debut the world’s first 165Hz high-resolution flexible “Third-Gen Oriental Screen” co-developed by BOE, featuring advanced Display P3 chip and 165Hz gaming support, launching on October 14, 2025.

At yesterday’s BOE flexible OLED flagship launch event, BOE unveiled the “Third-Gen Oriental Screen,” co-developed with OPPO and OnePlus, touted as the world’s first 165Hz high-resolution flexible display featuring true hardware 1-nit night mode, LTPO 2.0 adaptive refresh, and a 1.15mm ultra-narrow quad-edge design.

The screen achieves 8 technological breakthroughs and shatters 9 world records, powered by BOE’s proprietary Display P3 chip and new X3 luminescent materials for superior brightness uniformity and color performance. Key innovations include enhanced drive technology reducing single-row pixel charging to 1.3 microseconds—twice the industry average—for stable high-refresh rates; the self-developed Display P3 chip boosting transistor count by 1.3 times for higher clock speeds and consistent pixel brightness; redesigned circuits enabling 10ms faster touch response than 120Hz screens with zero dead pixels after a million taps and 8x reduced latency variance; and 9 advanced display algorithms for immersive visuals with enhanced uniformity.

The OnePlus 15 will be the first device to feature this screen, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite SoC and an “aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal” frame, launching officially in Shenzhen on October 14 at 2:30 PM. It pioneers a 165Hz ultra-high-frame gaming ecosystem, natively supporting 165fps in titles like Delta Force, Arena Breakout, Call of Duty Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Naruto Mobile. OnePlus is also adapting 165Hz support for leading apps including WeChat, QQ, Xiaohongshu, and Weibo.
