Path of Exile 2 Early Access preload announced with exact release time revealed

It’s a busy week for gamers, but Path of Exile 2 is sneaking in at the end of the year as one of the most-anticipated ARPGs in an increasingly crowded genre.

With Diablo 4’s excellent Vessel of Hatred expansion and Last Epoch launching this year, there’s no shortage of loot to chase and monsters to slay, but Grinding Gear Games’ sequel is expected to be one of December’s biggest titles.

The game launches into Early Access on December 6 for players, and we now know when fans can expect to preload the game – provided they’ve picked up one of the Early Access Supporter Packs.

Path of Exile 2 Preload Time

An action-RPG years in the making, it makes sense you’ll want to start swinging your weapon as soon as possible. Thankfully, Path of Exile 2 will offer preloading.

We don’t yet know how big the game’s download size will be, but do know it’ll be available to preload at 1am on December 6 (that’s Friday) in the UK.

For other time zones, that’s 5pm PST or 8pm EST on Thursday, or 2am CEST and midday AEDT on Friday.

It’s worth noting that while preload is going live across PC and Xbox, PS5 players will gain access to the Early Access Supporter Packs 24 hours prior.

UK gamers, it might not be worth booking the day off to play Path of Exile 2 on launch day.

The game will go live for UK players at 7pm GMT, but that gives you plenty of time to get your preload done.

For other regions, that’s 11am PT, 2pm ET, or 8pm CET.
