The voice of the self-proclaimed “world’s most evilest cat” is definitely not afraid of water and confirms that his Staten Island ferry remodel is underway. Dogman’s Pete Davidson debunks the rumors on The Today Show that he and former SNL castmate and ferry boat co-owner Colin Jost are not on speaking terms and that the ferry plans are a lifelong endeavor. “Me and Colin talk all the time,” Davidson explained. “We have a lot of ideas. They’re actually pretty close to bringing the ideas to fruition. It’s just that, people don’t understand — it’s a giant boat that holds 5,000 people.” The Staten Island ferry isn’t just sitting dormant; it’s been home to Tommy Hilfiger’s spring 2025 NYFW show and the location for the upcoming film Screamboat. Back in 2023, Davidson explained their goal was to have a concert venue, a restaurant, a hotel, and a movie theater on the boat, so a couple of years is definitely not enough time to get that done— eventually, it’ll finally become the Mojo Dojo Casa Boat of their dreams.
