Pete Davidson Makes Rare Return to Social Media With Confession on Elsie Hewitt First Date

Pete Davidson knew he’d be raising a big time adolescent with Elsie Hewitt.

The Saturday Night Live alum returned to social media for one day alongside the model to share rare insight into their relationship, which they went public with in March 2024.

And as the couple—who announced they’re expecting a baby together in July—recalled, they knew they were a good match on their very first date.

“When we went on our first date, we went out for dinner for the first time,” Elsie said in a video posted in their takeover of Bumble’s Instagram Stories Nov. 18, “I was like, ‘Don’t think I’m crazy, but I just know that you’re going to be the father of my children.'”

And Pete remembered agreeing at the time, explaining that he told her, “I know.”

Quipping about her current pregnancy journey, Elsie added, “And look at us now!”

And that wasn’t the only memory that stood out for Pete about the beginnings of his romance with Elsie. The comedian, 32, also revealed that Elsie, 29, tried to win him over with a fun date suggestion early on in their love story.

“She goes, ‘I have a standing reservation at an escape room so we can go anytime,'” Pete laughed. “I was like, ‘Oh, cool, dude.'”

Of course, the Big Time Adolescence star is excited about the memories they will make in the future as well—especially once their little one arrives.

As Pete explained, “We’re really excited to dress the baby up exactly like us.”

Indeed, the King of Staten Island actor already has a few goals as a father, previously sharing that he’s looking forward to “being able to take care of something and show it the childhood I didn’t have.”

“I assume you just try to give them what you didn’t have,” he said of parenting during an Aug. 13 appearance on The Breakfast Club, “and what you didn’t like, not do it.”
