Hoist the Anchor in Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage
Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage arrives on Steam Early Access today, bringing a fresh adventure for fans of roguelike deckbuilders. The game launches first on Steam, while versions for the Epic Games Store and mobile platforms are planned for later in December or early next year. Players can begin their journey at an Early Access price of 14.99 USD, with a 20% launch discount available for the first two weeks. Regional prices may vary.
The Early Access build offers a generous amount of content. You can work with a collection of 250 cards, experiment with 90 relics to influence each run, and choose from 3 heroes across 7 classes. Four companions are included as well, each contributing unique cards. More than 100 pieces of equipment allow you to personalise each hero, and 12 companion skins add an extra touch of style.
The first region, Pirates Bay, is ready to explore. Players travel between islands, uncover secrets, defeat nine sea masters, and encounter imposing creatures. The Arena also opens its doors, offering demanding challenges and a chance to earn prestige.
Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage continues the spirit of the original while expanding its ideas. You collect and fuse cards, gather relics, and adapt your strategy as you progress. Runs can feel different based on your choices, your cards, and the dangers you face.
The adventure begins at New Elysia, where you select a character, choose a class ability, and prepare your starting deck before heading out. Each class includes a distinct ability card and a premade deck. Elixirs from the Alchemy shop can shift abilities, adjust decks, and change appearances.
A new feature introduces animal companions, allowing you to add their unique cards to your starting strategy. The combinations between heroes, classes, and companions create many paths to discover.
