Players Gonna Play, Play, Play: Taylor Swift’s Game Day Fashion

After two consecutive Super Bowl wins, there may be some “Chiefs Fatigue” come Sunday, but nobody’s tired of Taylor Swift. Swifties can’t get enough of the pop star’s cheerleading outfits, mixing team merch with her fave luxury labels, like Chanel, Cartier and LV. While boyfriend Travis Kelce may be an MVP, Swift’s NFL presence has literally been a game changer: There have been reports of spikes in female viewership since she started appearing in the bleachers. But the NFL also rocked her game: while 10 million folks caught the Eras Tour, more than 120 million took in 2024’s Super Bowl. Everybody wins — even if eyeballs aren’t always on the ball.

Swift dressed like the chief Chiefs cheerleader: white t-shirt, black Ksubi denim shorts, fangirl red-and-white Chiefs New Era windbreaker and red-and-white New Balance kicks — her first of many outings in the Chiefs team colors. Early in her relationship, Swift kept it low key so as couldn’t upstage her man on the field. While Swifties try to dress like her, she decided to try out the Chief WAGs look for size. And, yes, longtime stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer helped procure much of her NFL wardrobe.

This go-round, Swift’s Chiefs jacket was a gift from sports reporter Erin Andrews’ Wear by Erin line — Andrews being one of the friends who helped set her up with Kelce. Andrews also did herself a favor: Yhe jacket briskly sold out. Underneath, Swift paired a black Balenciaga corset (around $1,500) with a black miniskirt and silver jewelry. Fans tried to read clues into every NFL look — Swift once said “Easter eggs can be left on clothing or jewelry.” Their interpretation of this look: She’s in love!

A chilly day in Kansas City brought out this custom puffer jacket created by Kristin Juszcyk, designer wife of San Francisco 49er fullback Kyle Juszcyk, resembling one Kuszcyk made for Brittany Mahomes — Swift’s with number 87 front, sides and back. With fuzzy white beanie, black top, pants and boots she threw on a bag by the female-owned Manu Atelier ($825). Swift has quite a collection of small bags — some of which she’s actually purchased. The jacket’s still available on Masterjacket.com — on sale for $95!

Her sexiest look yet: Dion Lee crochet corset ($695), Area crystal slit jeans, Wear by Erin Andrews’ bomber jacket with logo (this sold out fast) and favorite L.A. jeweler Kirsty Stone’s Retrouvai yellow gold, diamond and ruby ring. Even her black boots got a red and gold number 87. That’s the second time she donned her special “TNT” diamond tennis bracelet from her beau.

To kick off a new season, this double denim Canadian tux isn’t just made from Daisy Dukes. A ribbed Versace corset goes daytime when it’s paired with Grlfmd cut-offs and those Chianti-colored Guiseppe Zanotti high kickin’ boots. Accessories bring the bling: Louis Vuitton bag, plus high priced rings by fave jewelers Retrouvai and Howl, diamond drop earrings from Susan Saffron and a diamond mini-huggie from EF Collection.

Swift shows fans — hers and his — who’s boss, in a full-on checked Versace suit (mini-suit, that is), Versace boots, Versace bag — then threw in some flirt with her Victoria’s Secret corset. A high-and-low look — well, mostly high: two ruby rings by Retrouvai and Effy and a $54,000 Louis Vuitton Tambour watch, putting the cost of bringing boss lady out to play to a paltry $100,000.

Swift upgraded to even swankier luxe labels: a vintage Chanel bucket hat (The Real Real lists it at $1,200), boots by Manolo Blahnik, bag by Tod’s. Her vegan leather/faux fur Lulu coat is by Charlotte Simone ($1,400) — it’s been seen on Emily Ratajkowski, Millie Bobby Brown and Christina Aguilera, in different tones.

Now that the Eras Tour finally wrapped, fan accessible clothes clearly went out the window.
