Free for all

If you’re itching to play one of your favourite games online this weekend but don’t have an active PS Plus subscription, then you’re in luck: Sony’s running a free multiplayer weekend.
The promotion will get underway from 00:01AM local time on Saturday, 6th December and will run through 23:59PM local time on Sunday, 7th December.
So, you’ll have 48 hours to play releases like ARC Raiders, Battlefield 6, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 online without any subscription required.
Sony tends to run these kinds of promotions a few times every year, presumably in an effort to hook players so they’ll end up paying the PS Plus fee.

To be fair, this month’s PS Plus Essential update is a good one: you’re getting five games as part of your membership, including critically acclaimed ones like Neon White.
Will you be taking advantage of this free multiplayer weekend? Should Sony cut the subscription fee in its entirety? Let us know below.
