Public Mobile’s $29/10GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico plan is back

Telus-owned Public Mobile brought back its $29/10GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico plan for Boxing Week.

The plan is the same as before, offering 10GB of 5G data with speeds capped at up to 250Mbps. It also included unlimited data, calling and texting in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. That makes it one of the best value offers out there as long as you don’t need more than 10GB of data.

Additionally, right now Public Mobile is offering $5 off SIM cards, making eSIMs $0 and physical SIMs just $5, making it even cheaper to switch. Curious how the eSIM experience is? We wrote about it here.

Public lists the $29/10GB 5G plan as being available for a limited time, but it’s not clear how long it will stick around. I’d guess it’ll stay until after Boxing Day, but we’ll see what happens.

The provider hasn’t changed up its other plans and still has the following deals carried over from Black Friday:

$45/75GB 5G Canada/U.S./Mexico plus 1,000 monthly long-distance minutes to China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, and the U.K.

$29/20GB 4G (speeds capped at 100Mbps).
