While it isn’t new that a phone has been fitted with a 10000mAh battery, realme has teased that it has developed a concept smartphone that comes with such a battery size albeit at the thickness of 8.5mm, which aims to resolve battery woes that’s still continuously faced by many users today.
To be able to fit in such battery capacity on a slim form factor, it is all thanks to ultra-high silicon-content anode battery, which features an energy density of 887Wh/L, but even so, realme also has to redesign the motherboard of the phone with a ‘Mini Diamond Architecture’ design that achieves a 23.4mm footprint, making it the narrowest motherboard ever made on an Android smartphone.
realme hasn’t shared more details on the charging wattage of this monstrous battery but we assume it won’t be slow as well, considering how silicon anode batteries are able to take on high wattage inputs on existing smartphones.
The company has previously shown off fast charging technologies that goes all the way to 240W, which is eventually unveiled on the GT Neo 3 smartphone, hence it is highly possible that this large battery concept smartphone might eventually come to live in a future smartphone.
