Riveria commits to driving agric innovation

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Riveria Limited, Sobayo Adekunle Kassim, has reiterated his firm’s unwavering drive towards driving innovation, creating employment, and fostering sustainable growth in Nigeria’s infrastructure and agricultural sectors.

   

Kassim, who said under his leadership, Riveria Limited has grown into a powerhouse with over 250 employees, dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions in infrastructure development, told The Guardian, that the company’s impact extends beyond business success, as it has become a platform for empowering young Nigerians, equipping them with technical skills and career opportunities that pave the way for a brighter future.

   

He explained that his passion for development is rooted in his belief that real change comes from creating sustainable opportunities, not just short-term solutions.

In terms of bold step he took into agriculture, Kassim recognised the urgent need for food security and sustainable agriculture in Africa, as he has expanded Riveria into livestock farming and meat processing frim. “This venture aims to revolutionise Nigeria’s agricultural landscape by improving quality standards, enhancing food production, and reducing reliance on imports.”

 

He said with a strong commitment to best practices in livestock farming, the company is investing in state-of-the-art processing facilities to ensure premium quality meat products for both local and international markets. “This initiative is not only creating employment but also providing young entrepreneurs with the tools and resources to thrive in the agribusiness sector.”

 

In terms of resilience, redemption, and a vision for the future, he said while the past legal challenges made waves in the media, he remains committed to proving that true leadership is about resilience, reinvention, and responsibility. “The journey is a testament to the power of redemption and the impact of transforming adversity into purpose.”
