Throughout school, the only class Rocky made straight As in was Art! He has worked in the Texas oil fields for 37 years, since age 17. In his spare time, he did remodeling projects and painted signs for friends who owned local businesses. Rocky enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid NASCAR fan, and his favorite drivers are Petty, Earnhardt, and Harvick. Rocky enjoys listening to 70s music and listening to anything by Shania. Rocky currently lives in East Texas with his wife and their Siamese cat, Nikki. Rocky loves to watch children and pets play together. He came up with the idea of mud pups while riding four-wheelers and watching dogs ride with their owners or chase them. He wondered how to combine two childrens favorites pets and four-wheelers – so he started writing and drawing!
