I think I’ve answered this question before, so I’ll give the short version. Pokémon Go: barked shins.

Other than that, I’ve definitely thumb blisters from multiple games. Hard to pick any out for being particularly bad, but I think the last one was a recent first play of FFVI, where Sabin’s Street Fighter moves started to make my left thumb raw. Je ne regrette rien.

Well, the only time a game ever injured me was when I played DDR at the arcade and slipped and bump my face at the display screen. Always remember to grab the handlebars, kid!

But can I talk about the time people destroy their stuffs because of games? Like, has anyone seen in person a Wii Mote slipping out of someone’s hands and hit the TV? I saw it twice.

The most significant injury I’ve had because of video games was nasty blisters caused by playing any 2D fighting game on the Dreamcast. That D-pad was raised just enough to make my usual method of “fluke my way into quarter-circle motions” painful.

Yep, I do remember this question coming up before. I’ll repeat that I got a blister on my palm from playing the first Mario Party and I banged my head against a glass wall playing Pokemon Go. My right hand also hurt from playing Theatrhytm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call enthusiastically.

QOTW: When I was new to VR and not entirely accustomed to it, I was playing Boneworks and got surprised by “VR sickness” really hard and fast, and as I was trying to gently slump myself down to avoid crashing down, with the Valve Index still on my face, the side of my head found out exactly where the corner is my desk was.

Also there’s the game that made me question whether I was one of those pain fetishists or not, Kids Icarus: Uprising. The game I pray for a Switch HD remaster of every night. Every time I played it I came away with horrible pains in my hands (even with using the stand), but I enjoyed the game so much that once my hands stopped hurting it was right back to the 3DS.

I don’t think i’ve injured myself playing a game besides maybe hand cramps but I have a question for the cast, I was wondering what your favorite podcasts are? I’m looking to start a few new podcast since i’ve lost interest in a few recently.

I’m currently only listening to rpgcast, backtrack and nextlander( former gaint bomb guys)

I used to get muscle cramps in my legs back when I used to play lots of DDR
