QotW: I didn’t follow through to the end, but when the DS version of Dragon Quest VI got a confirmed localization date I finished off a DQIX save, beat IV, and got about halfway through V.

Pretty much every Kiseki announcement gets me to play a couple more. We’ve had a new game every year for the past few years and each one has got me closer to catching up. I’m halfway done with Cold Steel 3 and the Trails Into Reverie announcement will get me to finish Cold Steel 3 and 4. I’ll get caught up and then likely not play Reverie until 2024.

QOTW: All the hype around Trails of Cold Steel + the pandemic giving me a bit more time last year meant I tried to jump on board with those games. I’ve slowly worked through Cold Steel 1 & 2 so far.

Great games but they take me a long time to get through unless I really drop most of everything else

After I found out that trails of cold steel 2 was coming to the america. I found a renewed interest in getting to know the series. The renewed interest helped me to push past the first two hours of trails in the sky. I had owned it for two years, but kept struggling with the slow pacing at the beginning of the game.

Honestly, the Like A Dragon announcements reminded that I still haven’t gotten around to playing 7 or either of the Judgment games and that’s something I want to get caught up with sooner rather than latter
