There’s nothing like a fresh manicure to make you feel unstoppable—a word we can’t stop using to describe the 2025 Glamour Women of the Year. This year’s recipients have put in the work to get here, and now, it’s time to celebrate: The honorees, their guests, and members of the Glamour community have taken over the WOTY red carpet at The Plaza hotel in New York City. And while there are plenty of iconic fashion moments happening already, we’re also zeroing in on the nails.
It goes without saying that each of the artists, activists, and athletes honored as one of Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year has had a career-defining, impactful year. In their profiles, they opened up to us about what keeps them motivated—including, for some, the beauty and wellness rituals that spark joy and confidence. On that note, 2025 has also been a banner year for the manicure: From this fall’s toasted-nail takeover, to every seasonal reinvention of the milky white manicure, we’ve had no shortage of celeb-inspired manicures to cover and copy. And really, what better source for inspo than the women whose work and advocacy has inspired us most?
