Join the Competition in SHIKA-Q
AGNI-FLARE CO., LTD. has announced that its upcoming online competitive puzzle game SHIKA-Q will launch worldwide in Fall 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, with some regional exclusions.
SHIKA-Q blends fast-paced puzzle mechanics with the intensity of a fighting game, offering real-time battles on a 10×10 board. Players must link blocks to unleash quick offensive strikes or craft defenses on the spot, making every decision crucial to securing victory. What sets the game apart is its integration of music, not just as background ambiance but as the central driving force of each match. Original vocal tracks, written to symbolize the clash of players, shape the rhythm and energy of every battle, adding a sense of immersion rarely seen in puzzle games.
The soundtrack forms the foundation of the experience, with character-specific songs that heighten tension during competitive play. A varied lineup supports the game’s modes, including 20 evolving tracks in the single player Challenge Mode and an additional 10 songs tied to seasonal themes available through the Battle Pass. These compositions expand the atmosphere of the matches while providing new layers of personality to the cast.
Beyond its music-driven battles, SHIKA-Q introduces a roster of distinctive characters and a growing world that will be revealed over time. Online play is a core feature, offering Ranked Matches and a seasonal Battle Pass system designed to keep competition fresh and engaging long after release.
