Since Ghana Has ‘Better’ Healthcare, Bring Asante Bediatuo To Continue Healing Here – Twene Jonas Mocks

News

US-based Ghanaian social media commentator, Twene Jonas, has sparked controversy with his recent comments directed at Nana Bediatuo Asante, Secretary to President Akufo-Addo.

In a video shared online, Twene Jonas harshly criticized Asante, suggesting he should return to Ghana for treatment rather than seeking care abroad. According to Jonas, “Asante Bediatuo, you will die. If you had lived a proper life, it wouldn’t be in a foreign country that you’d be cared for while you’re sick. Go back to Ghana so your family can look after you.”

Twene Jonas did not hold back in his critique of the Akufo-Addo government either, accusing it of failing to prioritize healthcare infrastructure, like building dialysis centers. He argued that if proper facilities were in place, high-ranking officials such as Bediatuo would not need to travel abroad for medical care. “If you are cheating Ghanaians, you will also be cheated,” Jonas added, implying that the government’s lack of investment in the healthcare system was coming back to haunt its own officials.
