Publisher Maximum Entertainment and developer Dee Dee Creations have announced that the chaotic sandbox shooter Squirrel with a Gun will arrive on Switch 2 on November 18, 2025. The game brings its signature blend of absurd humor and explosive action to Nintendo’s next-generation handheld, complete with all previously released downloadable content and a brand-new update.

Players can expect a full package of mayhem, including the Ratatoskr Update, where the squirrel faces a mighty Nordic foe at the Golden Acorn Tree, and the Gravity Gun Update, which lets players manipulate physics to reach new areas. The Photo Mode Update allows fans to capture their wildest moments with cinematic flair, while the Pride Month Update introduces “Pride Street,” a colorful new neighborhood filled with festive challenges and rainbow-powered surprises.
